Itinerary
10 day Rountrip Cruise from Kolkata
The itinerary commences in Kolkata with sites related to the East India Company and the British Raj. It then cruises upstream on the Hooghly River, an important branch of the Ganges River. The cruise stops in at rural towns and villages with temples and palaces, plus history borne of Mughal, British, Dutch and French origin. From Baranagar, the cruise turns back to Kolkata, again, stopping on route to discover temples and sites important to Hindu, Jain, Hare Krishna and Muslim religious traditions.
Kalaw Pandaw
Hand-finished in brass and teak
This beautiful ship was launched in 2014, combining one of the shallowest drafts on the river with one of the highest passenger space ratios afloat. Hand-finished in brass and teak by traditional craftsmen, the Kalaw Pandaw is itself an object of great beauty. There are 8 upper deck staterooms and 10 main deck staterooms, all with generous space, panoramic windows, elegant interiors and comfortable cabins. Enjoy complimentary evening canapes and bistro style dining room with outside seating and air-conditioning inside.
