Kelopa Restaurant - Dinning on the Terrace in the Evening

This is truly a 5 star resort. It’s a brand new hotel, very well decorated, with a very nice breakfast, restaurants, pools and SPA, but what really makes the difference are the people working there. The staff is extremely polite, always friendly smiling and trying to help you when needed. They went above and beyond during my stay.  If you want to relax, as I did with comfort, far from the hustle and bustle this is the place to stay.

Each evening I dinned  on the outdoor Terrace of the Kelopa Restaurant. I was admiring the beautiful chandelier inside the restaurant,  I turned around and  was surprised to see the beautiful colours of the umbrellas and pool.

The restaurant staff were so friendly and gave me meal suggestions. I remarked that it was the best Caesar salad I had tasted. I hesitated about ordering the glass of Chevalier Alexis Lichine Chardonnay, I enjoyed it enough to order a second glass.  The Sommelier Agung,  introduced himself and we discussed the wine, he suggest I try another wine and came back with two  glasses of French wine, one red and one white. complements of the resort.

I did take the shuttle into Ubud village and regretted it. Too crowded, too hot and too many markets selling cheap products. I reminded myself I came to Kappa Senses to relax.

My flight with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to Singapore was leaving at 8pm, the transfer to the airport was at 4pm, so I took the opportunity to have a massage at the resorts OmTara Spa. My two nights accommodation with breakfast  was a guest of Kappa Senses
